Planning Commission
The Planning Commission plays a vital role in guiding the growth and development of Mount Carmel. It is responsible for reviewing land use proposals, zoning changes, subdivision plans, and other development-related matters to ensure they align with the town’s comprehensive plan and ordinances. The Commission works to promote orderly and sustainable development while preserving the character of the community.
The Planning Commission meets on the first Tuesday of every month at 5:30 p.m. Meetings are held at Town Hall and are open to the public, providing residents an opportunity to stay informed and engaged in local planning decisions.
