Jim Stables serves as Town Manager of Mount Carmel, Tennessee, bringing over 40 years of experience in municipal government, including leadership roles as a fire chief, fire service leader, and interim city manager in multiple jurisdictions. His background in public safety and city administration reflects a deep commitment to teamwork, transparency, and accountability. Jim has worked across several states, including Florida and Tennessee, and chose Mount Carmel for its strong sense of community . He is focused on guiding the city through complex challenges and fostering a collaborative vision for its future.

Tyler Williams serves as Assistant Town Manager and CFO for the Town of Mount Carmel, Tennessee, bringing a strong background in municipal leadership and financial management to support the town’s growth. A graduate of Carson-Newman University and the University of Tennessee College of Law, Tyler is passionate about transparent governance and community engagement. He is an active member of the Rotary Club of Kingsport and several professional associations. He works closely with residents, regional stakeholders, and elected officials to build a stronger, more connected Mount Carmel.
