IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
If you are a sewer customer of the Town of Mount Carmel and you have a residential sewer pump station that services your home it is important to call us at 423-357-0154 as soon as you notice there is an issue. Also, if a residential sewer pump station services your home, it is extremely important that ONLY TOILET PAPER, WATER AND WASTE are flushed down the toilet or drains at your home. The sewer pump in the station is not designed to pump any other type of object, such as flushable wipes, feminine products, oils and grease or any other type of healthcare product found in your bathroom or home. Repeated disposal of these types of products to the pump station can lead to premature failure of the sewer pump and potential repair costs passed onto the customer.
